10. Hyperintelligence / impatience / boredom / disgust
We realised quite quickly that when we are normal, with an IQ of around ‘90’, society accepts us and everything goes relatively well, but as soon as we are more intelligent, say with an IQ of ‘130’, we are seen as extraterrestrials. Don't get me started on those who break every scale.
IQ and EQ develop naturally when we are curious. So we read many books of every kind, because we observe society and how it works a great deal, because we are interested in philosophy, art, music, physics, chemistry and even sport, because we have a natural desire to communicate and learn languages, because words and wordplay give us pleasure, especially because we begin to see structures in different languages.
Things become complicated when, from our earliest childhood, our intuition, intelligence and powers of deduction reveal the mysteries of life and society. Everything then becomes clear, and lies, whether insignificant or colossal, end up repelling us incessantly. We thus come to turn away from the world.
