20. Deficit in perceiving eye movements
Too much information is difficult for the AS to manage; there are also difficulties tolerating the energy and tension of another person's gaze, with the added emotions radiating from the eyes (unbearable). Contrary to what people think, the AS captures far more information than allistic people; the synthesis of that information simply produces a different result.
