There are many reasons why AS people develop somatic illnesses. Cause and effect play an essential role. Many of these functional disorders are linked to social dysfunction. The AS person can somatise: stress, anxiety, isolation, pace, pressure, obligations, mockery, social misunderstanding, fatigue.
