Have you grasped the principle of AS and how to “enter their world”? The AS person first needs a long period of observation to identify shared interests; only then can a true social connection form. The other person does not need to resemble you in every respect; their differences can also complement you.

What jeopardises this relationship is imposing your ideas and will forcefully, or speaking and acting in ways that raise fears about their future.
