23. Distrust, positive schizophrenia

There are subtle aspects linked to the biochemical disorder of AS functioning, which may have various origins and lead to states of micropsychosis. First, under pressure, in a state of stress and anxiety and in a complicated social climate, the metabolism begins to tip. Dopamine, serotonin, noradrenaline and adrenaline are poorly distributed and poorly received, as are inhibitors such as GABA, which can normally calm but are also poorly received.

After many years observing the effects of medication, I came to an undeniable conclusion: extreme vigilance is needed when giving these treatments to an AS person. Results consistently prove disappointing, or even disastrous. The effect is comparable to using the wrong fuel in a car, causing an immediate or sometimes delayed imbalance. Moreover, these medicines are generally metabolised (and filtered) within a few days. As the AS person's brain, like their metabolism, is fundamentally different, it is preferable to avoid this practice as much as possible.

How many times have I seen this state of micropsychosis, distrust and schizophrenia rise to the surface? The remedy consists of good social support from a loved one, great gentleness, settling the AS person into a reassuring environment, which also includes gentle touch and holding hands. Listening.

Positive schizophrenia is slightly distorted stored information and decisions based on distorted information.
