50. Anxiety or anxiety attacks that are controlled but detrimental to concentration

Concentration depends on many factors, including energy. For example, an AS uses substantial amounts of energy: an overactive brain, disturbed digestion and an anxious state draw on a great deal of energy, leading to reduced concentration.

On the other hand, when drive and enthusiasm are present, oxytocin boosts energy and the entire system. However, anguish can completely interrupt this momentum, turning the positive cycle into a depressive state.

Over time, I have observed the development of the AS, who adapts to overcome crises and disturbances while setting goals that give their existence profound meaning. This journey revealed to me that one of their essential characteristics lies in the development of self-awareness, an ability to observe my being beyond the outlines of mere personality. Researchers have indeed identified this trait as a fundamental diagnostic marker of AS. For my part, this self-awareness proved to be the key to psychosynthesis, an approach I found particularly beneficial.
