A therapist's reflection
I listen with my soul, attentively and perceptively, to my client's signs and expressions, and I strive to give the other person what they need to move forward. I am imperfect and I can make mistakes, but I always give the best of myself.
The therapist's responsibilities
Therapy must offer solutions and methods for resolving psychological and, if necessary, physiological difficulties. It aims to develop autonomy, self-management and coaching in the face of everyday uncertainties, providing responses that are both immediate and lasting. The therapist also accompanies her client in the search for meaning.
The reason for being a therapist
Life is not a straight line, but a succession of events: a whirlwind of surprises and changes. If we do not learn to teach our client adaptation, flexibility and autonomy, to draw on their inner resources, cultivate their resilience and find peace, neither the therapist nor the therapy has a reason to exist.
